Spring is Here!

• Wednesday March 23rd   Class activities Beehives and Mia Maids 7pm @ the Church
• Thursday March 24th  THERE IS Mission Life Prep on Thur at 7pm If you can arrive at 6:30 Sister Uda would like to discuss camp..thanks Girls.
• Saturday March 26th YW Broadcast Sister Scott's Party Bus will begin picking up around 4pm please email or call us to be added to the pick up list. Broadcast begins at 5pm and a light dinner will be served after. All YW, Mothers, and Leaders are invited to attend. ( mothers of girls on the party bus can meet their girls at the church a little before 5pm)
• Sunday March 27th Fast Sunday due to upcoming Genereal Conference

 

Hello families,

Due to the recent natural disasters in Japan, our Stake Relief Society will begin a project to make 100 twin size quilts.  They will be sent to the Church Humanitarian Center to be sent to the areas most in need.  They will begin quilting on April 5 9am to noon and will continue every Tuesday until finished.

The Felicita Young Women have committed to help.  We are collecting twin size sheets and cotton fabric.  We will be organizing a couple quilting sessions in early April.  If the girls want to turn this into a Personal Progress project (a project is at least 10 hours of personal involvment), they can visit neighbors or friends or family and invite them to donate.  Please find attaced a suggestion of a half-sheet flyer they could use when they talk to others.  They can also iron and prepare quilt tops and other things. For other ideas they can contact Sister Scott.

So often bad things happen and there is nothing we can do to help.  This is something we can do to create a miracle in someone else's life.

This week  for mutual the YW are combined and are having an activity called Castles and Princesses organized by the beehive class. You don't want to miss this ...rumors are there will be some playing with food and some treats to eat!
